Despite the grocery chain’s efforts, weeks into vaccinations the demand and frustrations remain high.
Thousands continue to wait their turn, often getting conflicting or confusing messages from localities, or no information at all. Others aren’t even able to try for a spot in line or to get the latest updates because most of the announcements and messaging about the vaccine is done online.

One positive sign is that locally and statewide there has been a slight uptick in the number of vaccine doses available. Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday that Florida would get 375,000 doses next week, up from an average of about 260,000 per week.
