LATEST UPDATE:
This is to notify the 2020/2021 UTME and Direct-entry candidates of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education that the 2020/2021 online screening exercise for admission was successful. The screening exercise was scheduled for September 14th to September 22nd, 2020. More than 11, 000 candidates’ data were carefully screened following the guidelines of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board.
Candidates who were not properly ranked because of wrong O’level and UTME combinations but are eligible for admission have also been notified for possible change of course. We strongly advise the candidates who were notified for change of course to do so within the given period. JAMB UTME scores were adopted as 100% score requirements for all candidates. Candidates are advised to carefully monitor their admission through JAMB CAPS to know when they have been recommended for admission. The university is committed to seamless and transparent admission process.
Modalities and Procedures for IAUE 2020/2021 Post UTME Screening Exercise
CANDIDATES WITH AWAITING RESULT
UTME candidates with O/level awaiting result should upload their results as soon as it is available. Direct-entry candidates including JUPEB students should also upload their A/level and O/level results as soon as they are available from the examination bodies. These results should be uploaded on JAMB portal and university portal respectively.
REGISTRATION FOR POST-UTME SCREENING
The university portal is still open for registration for Post-UTME screening for the 2020/2021 admission exercise. Therefore candidates who did not choose Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as first choice but are interested in seeking for admission into the university can register in the university portal and also effect change to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as first choice on JAMB portal.
Eligibility: UTME candidates who scored 160 and above in the JAMB Examination including those that did not choose the institution and are willing to change.
Key Dates: The registration will commence on Tuesday, 14th July, 2020 and close on Sunday, 6th September, 2020.

How to Obtain IAUE Post UTME Form
The registration fee is N2,000.00 only.
Proceed for online registration as follows!
Procedure for Online Registration:
- Visit the University Website
- On ADMISSION Menu, click on “2020/2021 UTME/DE Screening.
- On the page that appears, click on .
- A page appears; enter your JAMB Reg. No. and Click Register.
- If you are a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Your details will appear.
- Click on Confirm to confirm your details.
- Enter your Phone No and E-mail & click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
- If you are NOT a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Click on UTME Registration button, a form will appear.
- Fill the form completely and click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
NB: Following instruction 6 above, remember to effect change of institution to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education from JAMB Portal. Candidates who used awaiting result during JAMB registration should remember to upload their O’level in JAMB portal and do same in university portal.
- Click on Login and enter your username and password sent to your email/phone.
- You will be prompted to change your password. Save your new password.
- From the menu on the left, click on Pay Screening Fees.
- Click on Pay for UTME Registration button and then click on Generate Invoice below.
- Confirm your Invoice and click on Proceed to Pay
- You will be redirected to Interswitch payment platform, enter your card details and make your payment conveniently. For security purposes, your card details are NOT stored in our secured portal.
- After successful payment, click on ‘Update Personal Data’ menu on the left, UPDATE ALL FIELDS on your registration form and submit.
- Print your Registration Slip and log out.
- Save your login details. Your username and your password are your personal credentials to access your profile in the university portal.
NB: Please, ensure error-free and seamless registration. The University is engaging in data verification of its candidates. We will do a data matching with the information provided by JAMB through its database.
Please note that registration is online and candidates are advised to register from any location as no candidate will be allowed physically on the University Campus.
THE SCREENING EXERCISE: Details and modalities of the screening will be announced in due course.
