Osaka University in Japan Scholarship, which is fully funded by Osaka University, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.

The Osaka University in Japan Scholarship

The scholarship is available to international Masters and PhD students worldwide, with the exception of students from countries where IELTS or TOEFL is not mandatory for scholarship eligibility.

This scholarship is offered as part of the Japanese Government’s aid program for international students within its comprehensive financial assistance program.

Through the Scholarship initiative, the Japanese Government provides a diverse array of financial benefits, including coverage for tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, and international air travel.

These benefits are included as part of the Japanese Government Scholarship initiative.

Scholarship Duration

The Master’s Degree program at Osaka University has a study duration of two years, whereas the Doctorate Degree program requires three years of study.

It is important to highlight that throughout these periods, the University fully covers all expenses on a funded basis.

Eligibility Criteria

1. In order to be considered, applicants must be international students originating from regions outside of Japan or from countries that do not maintain diplomatic relations with Japan.

2. Applicants who were born after April 1986 are eligible to apply for this scholarship opportunity.

3. It is a prerequisite for applicants to have successfully completed a minimum of 16 years of education outside of Japan.
