This is to inform all the fresh students of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) that the management of the institution has released the registration procedure for the 2020/2021 academic session.

About KSUSTA

The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) is a state-owned university in Aliero, Kebbi State, Nigeria

Founded in 2006, it was the 79th university in Nigeria. The University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognised higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.

Officially accredited and recognised by the National Universities Commission, Nigeria, Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA) is a coeducational higher education institution.

The mission of the University is to rigorously pursue productive scientific-technological research leading to social, economic and political developments, as well as the transformation of Kebbi State. 

KSUSTA Registration Procedure for New Students

The procedure has been arranged step-by-step. Students are advised to follow the procedure in order to make their registration process easy.

Step 1: Visit the University Portal to Print Admission Status

Candidates on receipt of admission notification from the University portal (by SMS), should visit and log on using your login details, follow the link to print Admission Status Letter.

Step 2: Payment of Files

Proceed to Ecobank Nig. Ltd and make a deposit of ₦200 on Account Number ‘4002006157and report to the Registration Center with the Bank teller.

Step 3: Collection of Registration Files

You will be issued with 3 Students Registration Files and you are expected to make photocopies of all your credentials.

These include UTME/DE Result slip, JAMB Online Admission Letter, Admission Status Letter from the University portal and insert into each of the files.

After filling out the front page of the files, you will also be required to present Originals of your Credentials for screening.

Step 4: Collection of Confirmation of Admission

The next step is to meet officers responsible for the Activation of Student and issuance of Confirmation of Admission against your Faculty.

Make sure you come with your Original credentials. There will be a need to verify the authenticity of these credentials as you supplied during screening.

Once a candidate is verified, his/her Confirmation of Admission Letter will be issued and a duplicate copy should be submitted to the Admission Officer after signing the undertaking.

For candidates who may wish to defer their admission, this will be their stoppage point. Contact the Admission Officer for more information on Deferment of Admission to the next session.

Step 5: Generate Payment Invoice

After issuance of Confirmation of Admission, the student should visit the University portal  and on successful login, a page will be displayed by your left-hand side.

Click on Payment Invoice to generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code for Registration Fee. On the displayed RRR code page, click on Print and proceed to any Bank Nationwide for payment.

NOTE: Any Non-Indigene Student who decided to generate an invoice by claiming to be Kebbi State Indigene will end up paying for double registration after been verified by the Deputy Bursar, Student Affairs.

Step 6: Payment Verification and Bio-Data Update

After making payment, return to the University portal and login with your details to do online Registration.

Click on Bio-Data and a drop-down menu will appear prompting you to enter your RRR Code for verification and also to have access to your Bio-Data and Course Registration Forms (CRF).

Step 7: Start Registration and Print Forms

Once it is done, you will fill in all relevant entries in the Bio-Data Form and click on SAVE.

Click on Courses Registration to open the form and Add/Delete Courses according to your Departmental Registration Guidelines. Then click on Save the CRF to Print out Registration forms as your next step.

There are several registration forms to be printed such as; Course Registration Form (CFR), Physical Examination Form, Pre-Registration Medical Examination Report, Student Bio-Data Form (Form 02), etc.

Print them out accordingly and submit them to the concerned Units/Offices for the signing where necessary.

All these forms are to be printed in at least 6 copies. You may wish to ask any Registration officer for more details.

NOTE: Make sure you click on LOG out from your profile page whenever you log in.

Step 8: Signing with the Accountant Student Affairs

Students are expected to proceed to the Student Affairs Division to verify their payment and ensure that their evidence of payment is duly signed and stamped by the Accountant, Student Affairs Division.

Step 9: Registration with the University Clinic on NHIS

Students are expected to report to the University Clinic with the evidence of payment for NHIS along with the Physical Examination Form and Pre-Registration Medical Examination Report Form for registration.

Step 10: Registration with the University Library

Students are expected to report to the University Main Library to register and obtain Book Borrowers Tickets and Identity tag/card.

Step 11: Submission of all the 3 Registration Files

After signing with all the relevant Units, you are expected to photocopy all your credentials including the JAMB online admission letter, Confirmation of Admission, JAMB result slip, Admission Status and insert them into all three three (3) files.

Proceed to Academic Division for signing with the Academic Secretary and submission of all the files.
