The board is currently seeking to hire both graduate and experienced Health volunteers for a duration of Twelve (12) months in the following positions:
1. Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW).
2. Laboratory Scientist.
3. Graduate Nutrition Officer.
4. Nurse/Midwife.
5. Pharmacist.
6. Medical Doctor.
The emergency intervention program was executed in two (2) phases, spanning a duration of Twelve (12) months, with a primary focus on the most vulnerable groups, including women, children under 5, pregnant and lactating mothers, living in the worst-affected regions.
The emergency support was specifically directed towards:
1. Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in camps and host communities.
2. Host Communities impacted by the influx of IDPs.
3. IDPs residing in makeshift or informal camps.
4. IDPs who relocated back to their original communities from camps.
5. Refugees returning from other countries.
6. Individuals residing in newly accessible areas.

Requirements for Application
1. Applicants must hold a valid certification as a Community Health Extension Worker.
2. A letter of recommendation from a respected citizen or public officer is required.
3. Individuals currently employed full-time need not submit an application.
4. Only candidates shortlisted for the interview will receive an invitation, with the interview date, venue, and time communicated accordingly.
5. Selected candidates will undergo a Three (3) day training and orientation exercise before being deployed to any of the affected Local Government Areas in the State.
6. Successful candidates will be subjected to a pre-engagement background check prior to final confirmation.
