Jarvo 69 is a British prankster and pitch invader who is known for his strange pranks and for interrupting the matches of various sports by entering the ground either as a sports official or as a player. He hit the headlines after entering the ground during the India vs Australia cricket match in the 2023 ODI World Cup. He has also been jailed multiple times for his pranks.

Prankster
Around the early 2010s, he started making prank videos which included toilet pranks, blind man pranks, and robbery pranks for which he was jailed on multiple occasions; however, he gained popularity for his pitch invasion videos in cricket matches, soccer matches, and award ceremonies. He ran naked among the public during a prank video.
He also teamed up with many other pranksters and made prank videos for the Trollstation YouTube channel. As of October 2023, his YouTube channel Jarvo69 aka BMWJarvo (Britain’s Most Wanted Jarvo) has around 180 thousand subscribers.
Pitch Invasions
Jarvo 69 has invaded the stadium and interrupted the cricket and other games on multiple occasions. He and his two friends halted a soccer match between Tottenham Hotspur and Partizan Belgrade in November 2014. He entered the diving competition in the 2016 Rio Olympics and dived during the final round.
He has also interrupted several matches of the Indian cricket team and has written on his Twitter that he is the first White to play from India.
Many people have said that his videos are very good; however, many have said that such pitch invasions are not good for the spirit of the game. Jarvo 69 said during a court trial that he has received praise for his ground invasion videos and has made many people happy.
Controversies
Fined & Banned for 3 Years
On 27 November 2014, Jarvo 69, along with his two friends Nathaniel Thompson and Helder Gomes, ran into the ground and stopped a soccer game for a brief period of time following which they were arrested.
In December 2014, they were produced in the Highbury Corner magistrate court, where they were convicted of a charge of going on to a playing field without a lawful excuse or authority. They were later fined £155 each and also banned from attending any soccer game in England or Wales for three years.
Fake Robbery & Kidnapping
On 5 July 2015, Jarvo 69, along with his friends Helder Gomes, Endrit Ferizolli, Dan Vahn Lee, and Ebenezer Mensah staged a robbery at robbery at London’s National Portrait Gallery and a kidnapping at the Tate Gallery. They wore masks and shouted and screamed at the art galleries and also carried their own makeshift artworks which they displayed as they were robbing the artworks from the galleries.
They were later arrested on the day of the incident for public order offences and pleaded guilty to an offence under Section 4 Public Order Act 1986, namely causing fear and provocation of violence. On 16 May 2016, the City of London Magistrate’s Court sentenced Jarvis to two concurrent jail terms of 20 weeks for the National Portrait Gallery incident and eight weeks for the Tate Gallery offence.
Multiple Disruptions in India vs England matches
In the 2021 India vs England test series, Jarvo 69 interrupted the match on multiple occasions in different venues. In the Lord’s test during that series, he entered the pitch wearing the Indian jersey with his nickname Jarvo and jersey number 69 printed on it; however, he was escorted out of the pitch by the security officials.
During the Oval test match, he first hid in the bathroom and ran into the pitch after he was instructed to do so. He bumped into England batsman Jonny Bairstow following which he had to be escorted out of the ground by the ground security personnel. Following these pitch invasions, he was banned from all the sports grounds for 2 years and also banned from going abroad for 1 year.

As of October 2022, he had 15 charges related to 21 offences which include being drunk during a flight and pitch invasion at White Hart Lane.
Pitch Invasion in the 2023 ODI World Cup
On 8 October 2023, during India’s match against Australia in Chennai, Jarvo 69 came on the ground and started talking to the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli following which he was taken out of the ground by the security officials. Many people mocked the security arrangements after seeing the incident. Following this incident, he was banned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) from the audience for all matches in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
