The Chengdu Municipal Peoples Government has established a government scholarship for international students of the International Sister Cities of Chengdu City.
The scholarship is intended to encourage exchanges and cooperation between the Chengdu and international sisters.
The Scholarship provides support for studies abroad and life of international students in Sister Cities who have received degree programs or non-degree courses within Chengdu.
Chengdu Government Scholarships for International Students from Sister Cities is available to all international students that are applying to Chengdu University for undergraduate and graduate programmes.

Chengdu Government Scholarship for International Students from Sister Cities Benefits
• Degree students: RMB 20,000/year (undergraduate)
• RMB 25,000/year (graduate)
• Non-degree students: RMB 1,000/month (no more than RMB 10,000 a year)

• Students with scholarships will be assessed every year based on their attendance, academic record and performance to decide if they can continue to win the scholarship next year.
• Students who win a scholarship should pay tuition, accommodation and insurance prior to their entitlement to the scholarship every semester.
