Women in Software Development Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Ingressive For Good (I4G).
About the Scholarship
To help young Africans in need make a difference and contribute to the social and economic development of their continent, Ingressive for Good was founded. To address the gaping injustices that exist in African digital ecosystems, Ingressive For Good (I4G) was founded.
Only 5% of respondents in a 2022 worldwide software developer poll are female developers, illustrating the male-predominant nature of software development occupations. The enormous gender gap in the technology sector is largely a result of the software development sector.
By providing them with free access to software development training, Ingressive for Good and Stutern are working together to close the gender gap for 1000 women at a time.
