Job Description

  1. We are now looking for a Principal Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers.
  2. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals.

You will:

  1. Lead a team with various experiences (SME, Solution Architect & Senior Engineer), delivering Radio Access Network, Design, Tuning, Optimization services.
  2. Lead the setup of delivery models and ways of working for the services and solutions sold
  3. Customer engagement in advanced technical discussions to understand customer requirements and propose strategic advice and direction
  4. Setup and negotiate KPI acceptance/exit criteria with the customer for services that will be delivered.
  5. Ensure project delivery team adherence to delivery model and ways of working.
  6. Work across disciplines at any point in the project lifecycle, from strategy to design to implementation to operations and maintenance
  7. Provide Radio network strategy and architecture planning, ensuring robustness, scalability, interoperability, and appropriate technology
  8. Proficient in Network Design on multiple technologies and multiple streams (RAN, TRM and RNC), including but not limited to:
    • Include link budgets analysis.
    • Initial system design and dimensioning,
    • System dimensioning for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis,
    • Coverage planning, site identification, evaluation, Network planning, interference analysis and optimization using EDOS DP.
    • Network Planning to meet design targets and Final Network acceptance with customer
  9. Work across disciplines at any point in the project lifecycle, from strategy to design to implementation to operations and maintenance
  10. Responsible for coverage analysis of GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks. Responsibilities include coverage/capacity analysis,
  11. Proposal for coverage/capacity enhancement to meet the acceptance target.
  12. Creating & Studying RF coverage maps, perform simulations and identify problem areas, also troubleshooting areas with poor coverage and Quality and recommending suitable solutions.
  13. Proficient in using Planning (Asset/Ericsson Tools) tool extract data as per design requirements
  14. Draft RF design solutions to address RAN network issues to be reviewed by Radio Planning Supervisor/Manager.
  15. Proposal for coverage/capacity enhancement, Network optimization to meet the acceptance target.
  16. Prepare and submit periodic coverage map and reports, Able to suggest design changes for Network improvement GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
  17. Support Site acquisition team and Regional Teams to find suitable site locations to build sites based on nominal plans
  18. Validating the technical site survey details and provide valuable feedback and correction if required
  19. End to End process review to strengthen and optimize solutions, processes and methodologies leading to higher efficiency and quality assured delivery
  20. Interfacing with Internal and External Teams (GSC), coordinating and validating the technical work of a small group of RF Engineers
  21. Provide support to Sales and solution department, also engage with presales activities, including pre-studies
  22. Participate in customer projects, handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations.
  23. Setup alignment, communication, and processes between NDO and other project streams including NRO, Sales, EP and MS

Requirements
To be successful in the role you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and above in Electronics and Communication or relevant fields.
  2. At least 15+ years of multi-technology experience in Radio Networks Design Strategic Planning, and Solutions
  3. Deep understanding of the latest technological trends in Radio networks, including Small Cells, CA, MIMO, IOT etc.
  4. Strong Experience in Design and Planning, experience in Ericsson Network Design Tools, Radio Products, and Solutions (GSM, WCDMA and LTE)
  5. Good understanding of advanced and complex radio networks and should be able to assist with advanced Planning and creative design solutions
  6. Must have customer-facing and engagement experience.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship development with customer

Job Description

  1. West and Central Africa (WECA) Operations Assurance Manager ensures that all contractual deliveries are fulfilled towards Mobile Money agreements.
  2. The role is responsible for ensuring an end to end operational performance towards the account and MFS Delivery and operations according to agreed targets.
  3. The role is acting on behalf of Operations, typically for Group or more customer accounts.
  4. The role shall ensure that Ericsson Converged Wallet operates according to MSTOP/ITIL best practices.
  5. The role will be working closely with customer Group and OPCO technology and operations teams as well as Mobile Financial Services Unit at Ericsson.
  6. It will be required to work closely with program stakeholders as CPM, Business Analyst, Mobile Money SMEs and M-Commerce Stakeholders to secure stable operation of Ericsson Converged Wallet.
  7. You will be reporting to the Head of Mobile Money Operations.

You Will:

  1. Own and execute Ericsson Converged Wallet Platform operational plans
  2. Support in the resolution of Operations issues related to platform and customer queries.
  3. Own Change Management process and respective activities in designated countries
  4. Drive Weekly/Monthly Governance with MTN OPCOs in the West region
  5. Customer management including C level during emergency situations
  6. Secure SLA/KPI fulfilment
  7. CAB Management Ericsson
  8. CAB Management Customer
  9. Team management is located onsite as well as GSCs.
  10. Festive & event platform planning & presentation
  11. Responsible for Planning & Capacity management
  12. Audit Management (External & Internal)
  13. Weekly/Monthly Governance with GSC

Requirements
To be successful in the role you must have:

  1. Experience in Managed Services in Operational assurance or SME areas. 5+ Years
  2. Experience in E-Wallets solution 4+ years
  3. Proven knowledge of MSTOP, ITIL
  4. Experience in operating Managed Services tools. Primarily MSDP.
  5. Understanding of Ericsson Wallet Platform or adjacent BSS domains products as Charging System
  6. BSS Experience 3+ years
  7. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team performance
  8. Result oriented with customer first attitude
  9. Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
  10. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  11. Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative, collaborative, relating and networking
  12. Track record as a leader and the ability to work independently preferably with a well-established contact network within Ericsson
  13. Outgoing personality that finds it easy to cooperate and establish relationships across organizational boundaries and in a global environment
  14. Good at handling resource planning and competence development
  15. University Degree in Technology or Economics, preferably MSC, MBA or equivalent.
