NZ SFPE Fire Engineering Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by University Of Canterbury.
About the University
Established in 1873 Canterbury College, as it was then known, was only the second university in Aotearoa New Zealand.
It was set up on the Oxbridge model with one major difference: women students were admitted from the start. An early graduate, Helen Connon, became the first woman in the then British Empire to win honors.

Requirements for NZ SFPE Fire Engineering Scholarship
1. The applicant may be a domestic or international student.
2. Applicant must have enrolled for a tenure of one year to a full-time student enrolled in a Master of Engineering in Fire Engineering at the university.
3. The Scholarship shall be payable as a lump sum when awarded.
4. The Scholarship can be held with any other scholarship, bursary, prize or tertiary allowance provided that the rules of those awards so permit.
