We all get bored sometimes and what get us through is the fun activity we engage ourselves in. In this article, I’ll be sharing with you Ten common things people do in their free time.
1. Social Media
There’s virtually nobody that is not in any society if there is perhaps the person still a kid or something. What it’s driving at is that social media platform is very common and popular.
There are tons of social media platforms these days, Facebook which is the topmost social in the world according to statistics has about 1.74 billion users. If Facebook was a country, it’ll be the third-largest country in the world.
2. Watch Movies
I could remember when the movie avenger newly came out, I spent newly all day watching the movie and I didn’t want to stop because naturally, I enjoy watching.
It’s the same with others, we all want to watch the movie when we’re free, we want to see how the spider shot cobweb, how wonder woman fling her and how fast the flash runs, it fun Hand; people just love doing it
3. Hanging Out
From going to the bar, going to the pool, or some other activity. Hanging out is something everybody do especially if you are free and you don’t know what to do.
One good thing about hanging out is it builds your social skills and makes you meet new people. It is a great way to enjoy your free time with friends and family
4. Read Books
Personally, I love reading, I read at least one book a day and so far it has been of great help to me, I know better and I can do better.
Reading is what most people do in their free time and trust me, it’s always fun reading.
Find an endless supply of stuff to read on the Internet, pick up used books at garage sales and thrift stores, or take advantage of your free library card and gain access to everything from the old classics to the latest best-sellers.
5. Cooking
I don’t really like cooking because am really not a good cook but my sister cocks anytime she’s free, from cookie to sandwich and fried rice, she has love cooking, this isn’t attributed to her only.
There are lots of people who love cocking naturally but am not just one of them.
Depending upon what you have in your cabinets, you may need to buy certain spices and staples, but I’ve found that it’s not too hard to keep a well-stocked kitchen, and it’s definitely cheaper than eating out.
Plus, it’s nice to get a craving for something and know that I have the ingredients to make it, meaning fewer spontaneous trips to the grocery store.
6. Walking
It may sound funny but people love walking doing their free time and notwithstanding the obvious cardiovascular profits, walking is a great way to clear your head, let off some steam, and just enjoys the outdoors.
You can walk the trail at your local park or just walk your neighbourhood after dinner. The benefits are the same, and it’s free.
7. Taking Photo
I think this one is for the ladies but to be frank, I think I take photos more than some girls, yeah! I love taking photos; it’s an amazing way to create memories.

No need to spend lots of money on expensive cameras; many smartphones can now take some really nice pictures and you can always upgrade later.
If you’ve got an eye for photography, you can sell your images on sites like iStockphoto and make a few extra bucks in the process.
8. Eating
Have you noticed that when you actually don’t work is when you go hungry easily, yeah it happens to me when am just home doing nothing, I end up eating any available thing, it could be a snack or real food?
People do that too, they eat or out with friends to eat or they just eat any available food in the voice
9. Sleep
I hope you know enough sleep is essential for good health, I didn’t just say it, it has been scientifically proven. People sleep when they’re free, this could be due to some factors.
10. Play Video Game
Video Game playing is what almost everybody does especially the male. We love video games, the shooting, sounds of swords and other is just entertaining
