1. Go to Amazon.com and log in to your account.

2. Find the Claim Code for the Amazon gift card. On actual cards, you might have to peel a tab or scratch off a coating to disclose it.

3. Choose Gift cards at the very top of the page on your Amazon Account page.

4. Choose to Redeem a Gift Card.

5. Next, choose to Apply to your balance after entering the Claim Code.

The monies from the gift card are applied to your upcoming transaction. To view your balance, navigate to the Gift Card Account page.

6. Apply for an Amazon Gift Card Directly to a Purchase

If you’d like, you can use the gift card when you check out.

7. Select the Proceed to Checkout option after adding your purchases to your Amazon shopping cart.

8. Find the Add a gift card, promotion code, or voucher option under Payment Method.

After entering your Claim Code, choose Apply. Any remaining money from the gift card is applied to your purchase and put back into your Amazon account.

Redeem and use an Amazon Gift Card in the Mobile App

1. Launch the Amazon app on your tablet or smartphone.

2. The Profile icon, the second one on the bottom menu, should be clicked.

3. Find “Manage Gift Card Balance” by navigating.

4. “Redeem another Gift card” can be tapped.

5. The claim code can be found on the gift card’s back.

The money cannot be moved to another account and will be kept in your Amazon account for 10 years.

Additionally, you cannot buy additional gift cards with that sum.
