Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarships 2022 Application Update

Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Erasmus Mundus.

About the Scholarship

Through scholarships and academic cooperation between the EU and the rest of the world, the Erasmus Mundus initiative of the European Union seeks to improve the quality of higher education.

In all of its endeavors, the GLOCAL program is committed to promoting equality. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and work to foster an inclusive atmosphere devoid of prejudice and unfair treatment.

Benefits of Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarships

The GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus scholarship includes:

1. A contribution to the student participation costs (tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory participation costs)

2. A contribution to student travel and installation costs.

3. A monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the study program.

Requirements for Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarships

You can only apply for ONE study track.

1. However, a solid background in history, economics, political science, development studies, or business is preferred. They welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds in the social sciences, business majors, humanities, and languages.

2. Academic Background requirements depend on which study track you choose to apply for.

3. Study tracks A, C, D, E and G are suitable for applicants with an academic background in History, Sociology, Political Science and International Relations, as well as applicants from an Arts and Humanities academic background (English Language, Literature, Anthropology, Languages, etc.).

4. Applicants who have previously studied Economics or Business/Management are also welcome to apply to these study tracks, so long as they can evidence some wider interest.

5. Study tracks B and F are suitable for applicants with an academic background in History, Economics, Business/Management, Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, or another Social Science.

6. Those applying for Pathway B and F are required to have an academic background in Social Sciences.

7. Other majors (such as Engineering, Sciences, Architecture etc.) will also be considered for entry into the program and for the scholarship if they have a significant academic background in the targeted fields listed above.

1. Degree certificate (and an official translation into English).

2. Official academic transcript(s) (and an official translation into English).

3. Two supporting reference letters on headed paper.

4. English language proficiency.

5. A scan of the photo page of your passport.

6. Your CV (Europass format preferred, but not mandatory).

7. Erasmus Mundus Scholarship application form–2022 entry.

8. Separate personal statement (for self-funded applicants only).
