The Nordic Africa Institute is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for the Nordic Africa African Scholar Program. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

Requirements for NAI African Scholar Program
1. A PhD degree in a social science or humanities disciplines. The applicant should have a considerable experience of work on Africa-related issues.
2. A research/teaching position in university or research institution in Africa.
3. Strong writing ability and capacity to present complex issues in a readable form for both academic and non-academic audiences.
4. Strong analytical skills
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
6. Knowledge of Africa’s scientific community, policy environment, and other relevant stakeholders and actors in Africa.
7. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
