Gates Cambridge Scholarship Program is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Gates Cambridge.
About the Scholarship
The Gates Foundation gave the University of Cambridge US$210 million in October 2000, creating the Gates Cambridge Trust. This continues to be the single-largest gift to a UK university.

They are given to deserving candidates from outside the UK who wish to study at the University of Cambridge full-time for a postgraduate degree in any field that is offered.

3. A maintenance allowance for a single student.
4. One economy single airfare at both the beginning and end of the course.

Requirements for Gates Cambridge Scholarship Program
1. A citizen of any country outside the United Kingdom.
2. Applying to pursue one of the following full-time residential courses of study: PhD (three year research-only degree); MSc or MLitt (two year research-only degree); or a one year postgraduate course (e.g. MPhil, LLM, MASt, Diploma, MBA etc.)
3. Already a student at Cambridge and want to apply for a new postgraduate course. For example, if you are studying for an MPhil you can apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to do a PhD.
However, if you have already started a course, you cannot apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to fund the rest of it.
4. Already a Gates Cambridge Scholar and want to apply for a second Scholarship.
You must apply by the second, international deadline and go through the same process of departmental ranking, shortlisting and interviewing as all other candidates.
