Qatar University Postgraduate Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Qatar University.
About the Scholarship
International students with exceptional academic records who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in Qatar are currently eligible for Qatar University Postgraduate Scholarships.
International students can get fully-funded prizes from the Qatar University Postgraduate Scholarships, which include a 6,000 QR annual stipend and a full tuition remission.
The scholarship recipients are also entitled to a room at a university and an annual round-trip ticket.
This scholarship is made available by Qatar University to outstanding undergraduate applicants.
Scholarship Requirements
To be considered for the Qatar University Scholarship, candidates must satisfy:
1. The applicant must have a high school certificate or its equivalent.
2. Applicant must receive the Final Acceptance (Not Provisional Admission) in the university.
3. Applicant should not get benefit from this scholarship and another sponsorship/scholarship simultaneously.
4. The student must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
5. The student must successfully complete a minimum of 12 hours per semester.
6. The student should not exceed the period for graduation according to his/her study plan.
7. The student must remain registered continuously (in Fall and Spring) until graduation.
8. Recipients of the scholarship are expected to adhere to academic regulations, policies, and procedures of Qatar University.
9. Must abide by the General Conditions to keep the scholarship.

Scholarship Duration and Reward
1. Exemption from tuition fees.
2. Exemption from textbook fees.
3. 500 QR monthly salary.
4. Student housing (two students per room) including transportation to/from campus.
5. Annual round trip air fare ticket.
6. Residence permit under QU sponsorship.
7. The scholarship should be utilized starting from the semester in which the scholarship was awarded. If the student does not pass his/her first semester, the scholarship will be terminated and the student will be informed by QU email.

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
1. Application Form.
2. High school transcripts.
3. Two Recommendation Letters.
4. Passport Photo Page.
5. English proficiency certificate–TOEFL or IELTS (optional).
