Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Flinders University.
About the University
In Adelaide, South Australia, there is a public university called Flinders University. It was established in 1966 and is called in honor of the explorer and surveyor of the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century, Matthew Flinders.
In order to make higher education more accessible to Australians living in rural and remote areas, the Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships (RRES) program was introduced in 2016. It helps students pursuing studies at all levels, from Certificate IV to PhD.
Benefits of Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships
1. The Scholarship payments will assist the Recipient with the financial costs of attending their institution and undertaking their Eligible Course of Study and Internship.
2. The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarship Program can provide:

RRES is available to students who:
1. Meet Australian citizenship or residency requirements.
2. Are commencing a new course of study in the same year as the relevant scholarship round.
3. Can provide evidence of financial need.
4. Have a permanent home address in a regional or remote area, as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) 2016.
