Erica Jolly Indigenous Bursary 2022 Application Update

Erica Jolly Indigenous Bursary is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Flinders University.

About the Scholarship

is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. It was founded in 1966 and named in honor of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

The bursary has been established to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to undertake a higher education course, specifically in the field of education, including special education.

Benefits of Erica Jolly Indigenous Bursary

Subject to the availability of funds, one bursary will be awarded annually. The value of the bursary will be $500.

Applicants for the bursary must:

1. Be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and

2. Identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and

3. Be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which he or she lives or has lived; and

4. Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study in Education or Special Education at Flinders University.
