MRS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022 Application Update

MRS Undergraduate Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the MRS Oil Nigeria.

About the Scholarship

MRS is a non-discriminatory, equal employer, providing gender equal opportunities and remuneration that is competitive within the industry.

The scholarship is awarded to Senior Secondary School 1–3 Students who attend government-owned or accredited private secondary schools in Nigeria and undergraduates who have been offered admission into government-owned or accredited private Tertiary Nigerian institutions for example, University, Polytechnic, or Monotechnic, for the duration of their course.

Requirements for MRS Undergraduate Scholarship

Secondary School Applicants:

1. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate.

2. Examination (JSCE), and have a minimum of five (5) distinctions i.e. A, which is equivalent to an excellent grading system in the relevant subjects (including Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting.

3. Applicant must have the JSCE results available during the application period.

4. Applicant should not be more than 18 years at the time of application.

5. Applicant must be a Nigerian.

6. Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee/individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc during the application period.

7. Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.

Undergraduate Applicants:

1. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate.

Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (NECO or GCE). The applicant must have a minimum of five (5) distinctions i.e. A, which is equivalent to an excellent grading system in the five subjects relevant to the course of study in the higher institution of choice (including Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting.

2. Applicant must have been offered admission into an approved tertiary institution (University/Polytechnic/Monotechnic) in Nigeria.

3. Applicants should not be more than 25 years old at the time of applying.

4. Applicant must be a Nigerian.

5. Applicant must be a child of a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.

6. Applicant must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship.
