Some Unique Asian/Pacific Islander Scholarships for 2021

The following are some of the Asian/Pacific Islander scholarships:

1. ACHE Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship

This is one of the Asian/Pacific Islander scholarships. Also, this scholarship is offered to provide financial aid to minority students. And it’s for those in healthcare management graduate programs. Furthermore, it’s to help offset tuition costs and student loans and expenses.

2. Against The Grain Groundbreaker Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance and promotion of Asian-American college seniors and graduate students. Also, it’s for those who have exhibited exemplary leadership, vision, and passion that are blazing a trail for others to follow.

  • Award Amount: $1,500.
  • Requirement: Applicant must be of at least 25% Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity. And must be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S. Also, must be either a high school senior or a college student.And must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. vocational, junior college, or four-year college/university. Also, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted).

3. American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship

Or an ALA-recognized NCATE School Library Media program.

4. APIASF General Scholarship Program

Also, this is one of the Asian/Pacific Islander scholarships. And the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) is the nation’s largest.

  • Requirement: Applicants must register for a free account on the scholarship provider’s website to complete the application. Also, must be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census. Additionally, must be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the U.S. And must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. Also, must submit one letter of recommendation online.

5. Augustana University Diversity Scholarships

Augustana University Diversity Scholarships are for full-time students. Also, they’re for those who are members of a minority ethnic group. Furthermore, they’re for those who bring diversity to campus.

6. Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund

Also, this is another of the Asian/Pacific Islander scholarships. The Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund awards five scholarships of $5,000. And these are to qualified incoming freshmen enrolled at four-year colleges or universities.

Also, each scholarship is renewable for a total of four years. And this is on the basis of satisfactory academic performance in a full-time undergraduate program.

  • Award Amount: $20,000.
  • Requirement: Applicants must be incoming freshman. Also, must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four year-college or university in the upcoming academic year. And must be pursuing a career in engineering, physical, computer or environmental sciences. Furthermore, must be of Filipino heritage (at least 50%). And must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Also, must show financial need. And must reside in Northern California.
