– Rotterdam Young Leaders Scholarship –

The City of Rotterdam is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Rotterdam Young Leaders Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About the Scholarship

Applications are open for the Rotterdam Young Leaders Scholarship 2022. From its cutting-edge urban design to its diverse communities, Rotterdam is known throughout the world as a leader in sustainability.

In 2022, the City adopted its Resilient Rotterdam Strategy to ensure Rotterdam is prepared to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the future.

The City of Rotterdam recognises that the innovation, social conscience, and resilience of young leaders are key to the city’s sustainability now and in the future.

Benefits

The scholar will receive:

1. Delegate access to One Young World Summit 2022, which takes place in Manchester, the United Kingdom, from 5 to 8 September.

2. Hotel accommodation in Manchester from 5 to 8 September.

3. Catering, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

4. Travel expenses.

5. Membership of One Young World Ambassador community.

6. A buddy from the municipality of Rotterdam.

You should apply for this program if you:

1. Live in Rotterdam, Netherlands;

2. Are aged 18–30;

3. Have a proven track record for leadership;

4. Are passionate about Rotterdam and its international profile;

5. Have a track record of creating positive social or environmental impact in Rotterdam;

6. Lastly, are keen to continue to engage with the City of Rotterdam after the One Young World Summit.

The application deadline is June 10, 2022, at 10:00 AM BST. No applications will not be considered after the deadline.
