– PhD Enterprise Scholarship –

Flinders University is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their PhD Enterprise Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About Flinders University

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

Flinders University and the Commission for Excellence and Innovation in Health in South Australia are offering a PhD Enterprise Scholarship to undertake research on economic frameworks to promote innovation in local health service settings.

This PhD Enterprise Scholarship offers:

1. $28,854 (2022 full-time rate, indexed annually) per annum tax-free, for up to 3.5 years.

Requirements for Scholarship

To be eligible for a PhD Enterprise Scholarship, you will need:

1. To be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or have, or are eligible to apply for, a relevant international visa; and

2. Meet Flinders University PhD admission requirements–an Australian Honours degree Class 1 or 2A or equivalent qualification (at least AQF Level 8), or evidence of equivalent research experiences, such as refereed publications or significant experience as a lead researcher; and

3. Are available to begin as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University in semester 1, 2022.

4. Any other eligibility criteria relevant to the industry partner/research project (e.g., have or able to apply for a National Police Criminal History Check)

It is desirable for applicants to also have:

1. Experience in quantitative data analysis.

2. Engaging with stakeholders.

3. Knowledge about the Australian health system.
