Shanghai Government Scholarship Program is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Shanghai Government.
About the Scholarship
The Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship aims to enhance the development of international student education in Shanghai and encourage more and more outstanding international students and scholars to universities in Shanghai.
Scholarship is part of the Social Responsibilities of the government to fund fees for International Students in China.
Benefits of Shanghai Government Scholarship Program
Benefits of Full Scholarship:
1. A full tuition fee waiver will be provided.
2. Free accommodation will be provided on campus.
3. A monthly stipend will be provided to all degree programs;
a). Doctoral Program CNY 3500.
b). Master’s Program CNY 3000.
c). Bachelor’s Program CNY 2500.
4. International students will get Comprehensive Medical Insurance.

Requirements for Shanghai Government Scholarship
To be eligible, you must;
1. Be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
2. Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
3. Be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when apply for bachelor’s programs
4. Be excellent in academic and and yet not be rewarded any other scholarships offered by government, institutes or organizations in China.
5. Be a Non Chinese Individual with good health.
