Global Korea Scholarship 2022 in South Korea : Fully Funded

International applicants who wish to pursue higher education abroad are welcome to apply for the Global Korea Scholarship 2022 in South Korea. Undergraduate and Associate Degree students from around the world may apply for Fully Funded Scholarships. We offer all academic fields and majors. A Bachelor’s Degree will take five years to complete. Korean language for one year and a bachelor’s degree for four years. All costs will be covered by the GKS Scholarship. It is the primary objective of this GKS undergraduate course to promote harmony and support bilateral relations between Korea and the participating countries. 

More than 150 countries are offered scholarships by the Korean Government to 220 students. KGSP was the previous name of the 2022 GKS. South Korea offers many ways to study. The biggest reason is that South Korea’s educational institutions are among the best in the world. Moreover, Korea has a highly developed education system, a rich culture, and a stunning natural beauty. A higher education in Korea is also accompanied by formal government funding programs, high job opportunities, and a high standard of living. Foreign students can also continue their studies in Korea for free in South Korea. 

It is one of the largest and most competitive educational programs in the world. The Embassy Track and University Track are the two ways to apply for KGSP 2022. The Korean Government will select 125 foreign students from 67 countries to complete their bachelor’s degree programs. In the GKS University Track, the Korean government will select 60 international students from 72 countries who can complete their undergraduate studies, and 35 international candidates from 17 countries according to their degree programs. There is a different deadline for each university. The following section describes how to apply for this course successfully:

Global Korea Scholarship Benefits:

  • The student will cover the full tuition fee.
  • Free air return ticket.
  • Settlement Allowance will be provided, 200,000 KRW.
  • A Monthly Grant will be awarded, 900,000 KRW.
  • The scholarship will pay for 1-Year Korean Language Training.
  • Issuance of entrance fees to the University.
  • National Health Insurance will be provided.
  • Korean Technology Grants will be provided, 100,000 KRW / month.
  • Degree Completion Grants will be awarded once, 100,000 KRW.

Application Requirements:

  • The nominee must be a citizen of one of the Global Korea Scholarship partner countries.
  • It is not permitted for the nominee to hold Korean nationality or dual nationality.
  • Candidates must have graduated or be expected to graduate on February 28, from a bachelor’s degree program or an associate degree program.
  • It is only open to candidates who have a bachelor’s degree or are expected to graduate on February 28,.
  • Candidates must be under 25 years of age to run for election.
  • Candidates for election must be in good health.
  • The nominee must maintain his or her GPA to maintain their scholarship.

Application Guidelines for Global Korea Scholarship:

There are two types of institutions to which applicants can apply:

The Republic of Korea has 67 ambassadors (Consulate Track).

NIIED (University Track) nominates 30 Korean universities

  • Candidates must apply through their home country’s South Korean Embassy following the Ambassador Request.
  • NIIED will make the final choice after the ambassador nominates a candidate, asks the candidate to apply to a particular university, and nominates you as a candidate for the GKS.
  • Candidates applying through University Track should contact the university directly.
  • The university selects the candidate for the GKS and forwards your documents to NIIED for final determination.
