Warwick Prize for Women in Translation: The prize will be awarded annually to the best eligible work of fiction, poetry, literary non-fiction, work of fiction for children or young adults, or graphic novel, written by a woman, translated into English by a female or male translator, and published by the UK or Irish publisher.

It launched the prize in 2017 to address the gender imbalance in translated literature. However, they increase the number of international women’s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership.

Eligibility

1. Re-translations of previously translated works are eligible

2. Self-translations are not eligible
