How to Know if you have been Selected as a Candidate
The Nigerian Navy has made available the list of candidates who have been shortlisted for the 2022 DSSC examination. To determine if you’ve been selected, follow these instructions:
1. Applicants should confirm their designated centers and proceed to them.
2. Candidates who are assigned to centers in Abuja and Lagos should be aware that these centers have been divided into two, and therefore they must check which center their name has been listed under.
3. Only those whose names are on the center’s list will be allowed to participate in the examination at the designated center.
Those who are scheduled to take the Aptitude Test should come prepared with the following:
a). Consent form from parents or guardians.
b). Attestation card from the local government.
c). Acknowledgement form.
d) Photocopies of certificates, including the NYSC Discharge Certificate.
e) Writing materials, limited to a 2B pencil, sharpener, and eraser.
5. The use of mobile phones and other communication devices is strictly prohibited in the examination halls.
6. Punctuality is crucial, and arriving late will not be accepted.

Nigerian Navy DSSC Recruitment Additional Instructions
During the final selection interview, applicants will need to present their original documents at the centers for examination.
In the event that an applicant is chosen for the zonal recruitment test, they will be required to present the following documents:
Two recent passport-sized photographs, endorsed and stamped by an officer of the specified rank, L.G.A Chairmen/Secretaries, and other designated officials in Paragraph 8, must be presented by the applicant.
Duplicate Photocopies of:
1. Birth certificate or declaration of age (any age declaration made more than four years before the exercise will not be accepted).
2. Educational or trade certificates.
3. Certificate of origin from the applicant’s Local Government Area (L.G.A).
Any candidate suspected of impersonation or submitting false documents will be disqualified from the exercise.
Furthermore, the detection of after the exercise may result in disqualification and possible prosecution by the police.
The Nigerian Navy will not entertain any inquiries regarding applications that have been rejected. Upon completion of the application, candidates should print out the Acknowledgment Slip.
