About Up Scholarship

The UP Scholarships are for students enrolled in the state’s vast educational system, which encompasses more than 2 lakh institutions and 60 universities.

The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Scholarship program offers a variety of pre-matric and post-matric schemes for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/General applicants, with the goal of providing financial assistance to students at various stages of their education in the state.

A considerable number of students in Grades 9, 10, 11,, and 12 are eligible for financial aid under the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Program.

The UP Scholarship programs are part of a strategic educational strategy in Uttar Pradesh that provides financial aid to students who live in the state.

The UP Scholarship Status for the academic year of 2021-22 was released on the official portal SAKSHAM (Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System) of scholarship.up.nic.in.

How to Check UP Scholarship Status

Applicants can check the status of their scholarship on the official portal of UP Scholarship portal i.e. SAKSHAM.

Step 1: Visit the official portal of scholarship.up.gov.in

Step 2: Hit the “Status” tab on the website’s homepage.

Step 3: Enter the registration number and date of birth correctly.

Step 4: Click on the search button and the application status will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: You can download and take a printout (optional) for references.

Important Instructions Related to UP Scholarship 2022

1. All applicants from any caste category, including general, OBC, SC, and ST, are eligible for the UP scholarship.

2. Candidates from colleges that have been placed on the authority’s blacklist are ineligible to .

Chaudhary Babulal Institute of Technology and Management, Hathras, Excellence College of Professional Studies, Meerut, and Shri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Baghpat are among the colleges on the list.

3. Students should provide a hard copy of the photocopy of their bank passbook with their application form.

4. Students must submit the application form in person to the department and get the receipt.

5. Applicants must offer a valid email address and a mobile phone number.

6. All of the applicant’s information and documents must be true and legitimate. If the information provided is determined to be incorrect, the application and data saved will be denied.

7. Suspicious applications will be rejected at the same time that they are not forwarded for scholarship consideration.

8. Fail students are ineligible for the scholarship and should not apply.

9. for the scholarship or who are interested in applying should not give out personal information, bank account numbers, IFSC codes, class 10th/12th roll numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information to anyone.

10. Students can check their application status on the official website at any time.

11. To check the status of their scholarship, they only need their ID and password generated at the time of application.

12. Students who have already registered with the portal must renew their accounts by updating their information. There is no need to register again.

13. All scholarship-related information is updated on a regular basis on the official portal. Applicants are encouraged to maintain contact in order to receive regular updates.

14. It is recommended that applicants check the scholarship updates on the portal on a frequent basis. They must adhere to all instructions in a timely and meticulous manner in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

How to Check Aadhaar-Bank Linking Status for UP Scholarship?

The UP Scholarship will only be transferred to students’ bank accounts that are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. Students must ensure that their Aadhaar-linked bank account number is included in their UP scholarship application. Those who are unsure about this can use the steps below to double-check.

1. Click on the given link

2. Enter Aadhaar No. and Security code.

3. An OTP will be sent to the registered number.

4. Enter OTP and proceed.

5. Aadhaar-Bank linking status will open.

6. Check the linked bank name & check the UP scholarship in the linked account.
