European Jointly Supervised PhDs (Cotutelle) Scholarships 2022 Update

– European Jointly Supervised PhDs (Cotutelle) Scholarships –

The University of Kent is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their European Jointly Supervised PhDs (Cotutelle) Scholarships for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About the Scholarship

The University of Kent has up to ten scholarships for full-time EU (non UK) students who wish to be jointly supervised by the University of Kent and a university in another EU member state or accession country for a double degree (cotutelle).

Each year, Kent University invites applications for the European jointly supervised PhDs (Cotutelle) Scholarships. Up to 10 scholarships are given each year. Each of those covers 50% of tuition fee reduction. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year.

Award Value

Each of the winning students will receive up to 50% of tuition discount.

Level and Area of Studies

PhD degree in any field of studies.

Eligibility and Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic and research potential as well as how the application addresses the following:

1. Why the applicant would be a good candidate for a jointly supervised PhD

2. Why the development of this research link (at project, institution or supervisory level) would be to Kent and the named partner institution

Applicants’ Nationality

No nationality restriction.
