Hanze University Groningen is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their Hanze University Scholarships. It is a partially funded scholarship for all students.
About Hanze University Scholarships
Hanze University Scholarships, Netherlands 2022 is open for International Students, Non-European Students.
The scholarship allows Masters’s level program(s) in Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy System Management, Data Science, Life Sciences, Fine Arts, System Engineering, Business Studies, and Music taught at Hanze University Groningen.
The Hanze Scholarship program offers scholarships to bachelor students of Minerva Art from outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Degree Level
Hanze University Scholarships, Netherlands 2022 is available to undertake Masters’s level programs at Hanze University Groningen.

Scholarship Benefits
1. The Hanze Scholarship amounts to € 10,000 per academic year. Selected students will receive the scholarship in monthly allowances of € 1,000.
2. The Hanze Scholarship is a contribution toward to costs of living and cannot be used to reduce the tuition fee. However, a grant letter stating the amount of the scholarship can reduce the total financial .
3. Please note that € 10,000 is only part of what is needed to study at Hanze UAS. See our pages on costs of living and procedures for more information.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Your nationality is non-EEA.
2. You are admitted to one of these full-time Master’s programs, starting September 2022:
‣ European Master in Renewable Energy
‣ European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management
‣ Master Science for Life Sciences
‣ Master Energy for Society
‣ Master in Fine Art and Design:
‣ Inter-relational Art Practices (iRAP)
‣ Media, Art, Design, and Technology (MADtech)
‣ Painting
‣ Material driven Art and Design practices & Archival Methods (MADAM)
‣ Master International Communication
‣ Music
‣ New Audiences and Innovative Practice
‣ New York Jazz
‣ Master Smart Systems Engineering
‣ MSc in Business Studies – Business Professional
3. You have to actively study at Hanze UAS and participate in classes and all projects.
4. Please note that programs may set specific requirements, you can find these on the program pages (see above).
Application Procedure
If you wish to be eligible for the scholarship, you first have to be admitted to the program itself. For information on how to get enrolled please see Application and (re-) enrolment.
Admitted students will receive an to apply for the scholarship and a link to the Hanze Scholarship application form from the program’s admissions officer.
You will be informed about the result of our selection on 13 July 2022 at the latest.
Further practical information concerning the acceptance of the scholarship, procedure, and payment will be sent to you after selection.
