US Agency for International Development (USAID) is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their USAID Global Health Fellowship Program. It is a fully-funded scholarship for students.

About USAID Global Health Fellowship Program

The US Agency for International Development’s Global Health (GH) bureau’s top Fellowship program, the Global Health Fellows Program (GHFP) II, identifies and supports diverse, technically competent individuals at all levels to fulfil the Agency’s health priorities.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) is the sponsor of this award (USAID).

Value of Award

Salary is determined by relevant experience and earnings history. Professional development programs are included in the benefits package provided by the Public Health Institute.

Eligibility

1. A master’s degree or higher in public health, health finance, health economics, international development, epidemiology, sociology, or a related branch of social science or finance is required.

2. Minimum of ten (10) years of cost analysis or equivalent financial planning and management experience, with at least three to five (3-5) years of experience in an international or resource-constrained situation.

3. A year of experience working in one or more PEPFAR countries or at one of the PEPFAR headquarters organizations is required.

4. Willingness to move to Lusaka, Zambia if you do not already live there.

5. Ability to travel internationally 20% of the time.

6. US Citizenship required.

1. This award is to be taken at Lusaka, Zambia.

2. It is a Fellowship for master’s degree holders in public health.

3. The duration of the program to be pursued for which this fellowship will be granted is a minimum of 2 years
