Nasarawa State Government is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for the Nasarawa State Government Scholarship Scheme for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About Nasarawa State Government Scholarship Scheme

Nasarawa is a state in the north-central part of Nigeria. Its capital is Lafia. It was created on 1 October 1996 by the Abacha government out of Plateau State. Nasarawa State is bounded in the north by Kaduna State, in the west by the Abuja Federal Capital Territory, in the south by Nasarawa and Benue State and in the east by Taraba and Plateau State.

Eligibility and Requirements

To qualify for the 2020 Nasarawa State government Scholarship Award Scheme, applicants must;

1. Be Nasarawa State indigene

2. Have Five (5) credit grades in WASC/GCE/SSCE, including Maths, English and 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.

3. For undergraduate students, applicants must be full-time (100 LEVEL) degree students of the under-listed courses in Nasarawa State (College of Education Akwanga, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Nasarawa State University Keffi).

6. Architecture

7. Business Administration/Economics

8. Chemical Engineering

To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST apply with the following information:

• The functional E-mail address and phone number.

And attach scanned copies of the original:

1. Admission letter into the institution with information on the course of study, year of and duration.

2. SSCE/GCE O’Level Certificate.

3. Evidence of State of Origin / Local Government.

4. School ID card or National ID or Driver’s Licence or International passport.
