National Scholarships Portal (NSP Scholarship) aims at providing financial support for students. And it is a one-stop solution for various scholarship schemes. Also, it does this through various central Ministries and State Departments.

Also, it offers end to end services. And they start from scheme study, eligible scheme identification down to tracking the status of the application. It is only an Official app for NSP.

In this article, we shall consider just two of the NSP scholarships. This is because they are the available ones as of when putting together this information.

Ongoing NSP Scholarships

Below are the two ongoing NSP scholarships:

1. NSP Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

This is one of the ongoing scholarships. And it is offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.

The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India invites applications from class 11 to Ph.D. students of minority communities.

The invite is for Post Matric Scheme for Minorities. And the scholarship aims to encourage meritorious students of economically weaker sections of the minority community.

Furthermore, it aims to help them pursue higher education. And it aims to help them enhance their employability status.

Eligibility Criteria for this NSP Scholarship

To be eligible, please note.

1. You must be studying in class 11 or 12. And you must be studying graduate and postgraduate courses. Also, you must be studying technical or vocational courses

2. Furthermore, you must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination.

3. Also, you must belong to a family whose annual income is not more than INR 2 lakh from all the sources.

4. Again, you must belong to the minority community.

Benefits of this NSP Scholarship

Below are some of the benefits of this scholarship:

1. It gives admission and tuition fee for classes 11 and 12. Thus, Hostellers and Day Scholars get INR 7,000 per annum.

2. Also, it covers admission and tuition fee for technical and vocational courses. This is for classes 11 and 12 levels. Thus, Hostellers and Day Scholars get INR 10,000 per annum here.

3. Additionally, it covers admission and tuition fee for undergraduate and postgraduate. Both Hostellers and Day Scholars get INR 3,000 per annum.

4. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. This is in an academic year for classes 11 and 12. And it includes technical and vocational courses. Hostellers alone get INR 380 per month.

5. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. This is in an academic year for classes 11 and 12. And it includes technical and vocational courses. Day Scholars alone get INR 230 per month.

6. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. This is in an academic year for courses other than technical and professional courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Hostellers alone get INR 570 per month.

7. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. And this is in an academic year for courses other than technical and professional courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Day Scholars alone get INR 300 per month.

8. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. And this is in the academic year for M.Phil. and PhD. Hostellers alone get INR 1200 per month.

9. Furthermore, it covers the maintenance allowance for 10 months. And it is in the academic year for M.Phil. and PhD. Day Scholars alone get INR 550 per month.

Documents

Below are some documents to submit when applying:

1. Domicile Certificate.

2. Student Photograph.

3. Self-Declaration of minority community certificate by the student.

4. Also, a self-attested copy of the previous academic mark sheet.

5. Fee receipt of the current course year.

6. Scanned copy of Aadhar Enrollment/Aadhar Card.

7. Income certificate issued by designated state/UT authority.

8. Proof of bank account. This is in the name of the student or joint account with the mother/father.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps –

1. Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on ‘‘.

2. Also, read the guidelines carefully. Then select the undertaking and ‘.

3. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.

4. Also, provide the bank details. Additionally, provide Bank Name, IFSC Code, and Account Numbers.

5. Also, select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail. And then click on the ‘Register’ button. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.

6. Now, log in using OTP and fill the form. An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.

2. NSP Scholarship in Slovakia

This is also one of the NSP scholarships. The NSP Scholarships are offered under the National Scholarship program in a country.

Masters Eligibility Criteria for this NSP Scholarships

Master’s students will be allowed to stay in Slovakia for 1-2 semesters. This is in case of the academic year at their host university is in trimesters.

Also, they will be allowed to stay for full 1-3 trimesters.

The following are some of the requirements for this scholarship:

1. You must be stude
nts at the Master’s level of Education.

2. Also, you must be studying in a different country than Slovakia.

3. Additionally, you should be accepted by any public, private or state University in Slovakia for a study mobility

The benefits of this NSP Scholarship are:

1. A per month stipend worth 400 €

2. Applicants can also apply for the travel grant

PhD.

PhD students studying in a university outside Slovakia should note. The duration is 1-10 months. The benefit is a €734 per month stipend.

NSP Scholarships in Slovakia for Teachers, Researchers & Artists

The Duration is 1-10 months. The eligibility criteria are:

1. You must be university Teachers, Researchers, or Artists.

2. Also, you must first apply and have an invitation for an artistic, research or teaching Stay in Slovakia.

3. Furthermore, the Institution must have a valid eligibility certificate. This is to carry out Research.

The stipend differs according to the study level and experience of the applicants. Thus, it ranges between 634€-1030€.
