Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their LeadMN Morrie Anderson Endowed Scholarships for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.
LeadMN Morrie Anderson Endowed Scholarship Program
This scholarship provided scholarship support to students enrolled in a technical program at one of the technical or consolidated colleges within Minnesota State.
Upon Morris J. Anderson’s retirement as Chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, Mr Anderson’s colleagues and friends have established “Morrie Anderson Endowed Scholarship”.
Applications for the Morrie Anderson Endowed Scholarship are currently being accepted. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a technical program at one of the technical or merged colleges within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
The applicant’s academic performance will be taken into consideration during the selection. The application deadline.
Scholarship Qualifications
1. Be enrolled in a technical program at one of the technical or consolidated colleges within Minnesota State.
2. Have a grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
3. Preference will be given to students with financial needs and who show great promise.
4. This scholarship may be renewed provided the recipient meets the minimum academic standards as determined by the college president.
Eligibility and Criteria
1. Be in good academic standing as determined by the campus where they are enrolled.

Scholarship Requirements
Complete and submit the online application by April 1 at 11:59 PM for the fall semester or by November 1 at 11:59 PM for the spring semester. One $500 scholarship will be awarded each semester.
Submit a letter of application/personal letter. In this letter describe your:
1. Academic goals,
2. Career goals, and
3. Personal goals.
Submit a separate statement of need (describe why you need this scholarship).
Submit a copy of your school’s unofficial transcript.

Application Process
The application package must be contained the materials as follows:

3. One letter of recommendation from college staff.
4. A copy of your school transcript (does not need to be an official transcript).
