2. Tailhook Educational Foundation (TEF) Scholarships

Again, this is one of the many aviation scholarships for African students. However, to be eligible for consideration for this scholarship, note. You must be a high school graduate.

Also eligible are individuals or children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or have served on board a U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier in a ship’s company or the Air Wing.

Additionally, eligible applicants must be accepted for undergraduate enrollment at an accredited college.

➢ Award Amount: $15,000.

➢ Requirement: Applicant must be a high school graduate. Additionally, must be the natural, step, or adopted son, daughter, or grandchild of a current or former (U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps/U.S. Coast Guard) Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Aircrewman.

3. Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship

This is one of the many aviation scholarships for African students. It’s important to note that the total monetary value is $12,000.

However, it comes with $3,000. And this is disbursed annually to the recipient for four consecutive years.
