About The Ongoing National Young Farmers Scheme
Registrations are currently ongoing on the National Young Farmer 2022 website. You can be a part of the National Young Farmer programme 2022.
This programme is part of the empowerment scheme which the Federal government is recently introducing to the Nigerian youth populace.
The National Young Farmers 20212 is now open to the public.
The National Agricultural and Land Development Agency (NALDA) is responsible for these projects and the aim is to educate, inform and encourage the youth to enable them to participate actively in the agricultural sector of the nation.
According to news sources 1000 farmers will be trained from across the 774 Local Governments nationwide aimed at improving the agriculture of the nation. NALDA will recruit 1000 farmers from each of 774 LGAs across the country.

The National Young Farmer Scheme will help the Nigerian Youths see the various business and wealth creation opportunities available in the agricultural sector of the economy.
As a result, the rate of unemployment within the country will be drastically reduced. The National Young Farmer Scheme is a great initiative by the government.

National Young Farmers Scheme 2022 Portal
The National Young Farmers Scheme has kicked off and the application portal is currently open. Interested applicants can register online via the portal.
You can sign up for the National Young Farmers Scheme via the NALDA Website www.nalda.ng where you can obtain the application form.
General Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants applying for the NALDA recruitment must possess any of the following;
• Possession of B.Sc, , , OND concerning the applied position from a recognized institution.
• Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
• NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
• West African School Certificate (WAEC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects.
• Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO) with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.)
• (ND) obtained from a recognized institution.
• National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution.
• All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voters card etc.
• Ability to work with basic computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Geographical mobility within and outside Nigeria.
