The Nordstrom Scholarship Program seeks to award 40 students with scholarships worth $10,000. To qualify, students must be high school juniors with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 and demonstrate financial need.

Nordstrom Care Scholarship 2022 is open to high school juniors in some major states in the USA. The list is given below.

Host Nationality

The Nordstrom Scholarship is offered by Nordstrom Inc., a leading clothing retailer in the United States.

This Scholarship was first awarded in 1994 to high school juniors who live in the states where Nordstrom comes with a full-line shop.

The scholarship was given according to academic achievement by the student in addition to their extracurricular and community activities.

Eligible Nationality

Students who live in these 31 states in the United States where Nordstrom stores are located are eligible: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, N. Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington.

How to Apply

Applicants for the Nordstrom Scholarship Program are to write an essay and submit to Nordstrom. This essay varies slightly from year to year.

Semi-finalists are then chosen and required to submit letters of recommendation from their teacher at their high school.

The students that are selected as finalists are to have an interview with a predetermined selection committee. The committee is made up of business leaders, educators, community leaders, and various Nordstrom representatives.

Eligibility

Candidates must meet up with the following criteria to be qualified for the Nordstrom Scholarship 2024/2025:

1. Be a high school junior

2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 (non-weighted) on a 4.0 scale from 9th through 11th grade.

3. Plan and be eligible to attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S.

4. Be committed to volunteer, community, and extra-curricular activities

5. Plan to apply for financial aid for attending college

6. Not have a conviction for any crime.

Scholarship Worth

Nordstrom Scholarship awards successful applicants as much as $10000 for their college education. This scholarship fund is given to a range of 40 to 80 successful students.

The funds are paid straight to the 4-year university where the student is registered. The payment obligations were put to be delivered at equal installments over the span of four years.

Nordstrom initially used social media marketing and other internet marketing places for linking to students, but printable kits to senior high school staff were also offered.

Scholarship Deadline

Unfortunately, Nordstrom Scholarship Program ended in 2016 and Nordstrom Inc. is yet to commence fresh programs and application for this.
