The authority of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has released the cut-off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session admission exercise.

There are certain criteria to be observed by students before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any university. One of these which include meeting the required cut of mark for each schools as well as the courses itself.

It is very easy to obtain admission if one has met the required cut off mark for the admission into a particular course.

About the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID)

 (UNIMAID) is a Federal higher institution located in Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State in northeast Nigeria.

The University of Maiduguri was created in 1975 as one of the second-generation Universities. It formed part of the programs of the Third National Development plan (1975-80) by the then Federal Military Government.

Unimaid Mission

The University of Maiduguri shall be an institution dedicated to scholarship and learning in the Arts, Sciences, Humanities, and Technology, and the development of the moral and civic character of all persons who pass through her portals.

The University of Maiduguri apart from achieving competence in the basic Arts and Sciences aims at excellence in Agriculture, Pastoralism, Engineering, Human and Veterinary Medicine, Information Technology.

Only the candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of the University of Maiduguri  and have scored 160 and above in the last UTME are eligible for the post UTME screening exercise.
