Adversarial Research Scholarship 2022 Application Update

Adversarial Research Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Flinders University.

About the Scholarship

is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honor of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

This research project aims to analyze adversarial attacks on AI-enabled wireless communication systems.

A fully trainable AI-enabled radio can sense the operating environment and autonomously generate secure, high throughput and resilient tactical waveform to support mission-critical communications.

The research project will analyze adversarial attacks and learn from them to develop robust and reliable AI techniques for building wireless .

Aim and Benefits of Adversarial Research Scholarship

The scholarship includes:

1. Approximately AUD 40K per annum (top-up of AUD 10k + RTP stipend for eligible students).

2. A Research Training Program Fee Offset Scholarship covers tuition fees for Australian Citizens, NZ Citizens and Permanent Residents.

To be eligible for the award of this scholarship, a student must: –

1. Be an Australian citizen or New Zealand citizen; or have been granted permanent resident status; and meet PhD admission requirements.

2. Be available to commence as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University in semester 1, 2022.

3. Eligible for Research Training program scholarship.
