Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by Aga Khan Foundation.
About the Scholarship
is a private, not-for-profit international development agency, which was founded in 1967 by Shah Karim Al Hussaini, Aga Khan IV, the 49th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims.
His Highness established the Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarship Program (ISP) the Aga Khan.
The ISP aims to support gifted, from developing countries, who have no other means of financing their studies, to pursue full-time postgraduate studies at reputable higher education institutions of their choice.
Benefits of Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship
The Foundation assists students with tuition fees and living expenses only. The cost of travel is not included in AKF scholarships.
Applicants are requested to obtain funding from other sources as well, so that the amount requested from the Foundation can be reduced to a minimum.
Preference is given to those who have secured some funding from alternative sources.
