Job Title: Head, Retail Showrooms and Franchise

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers (South Region)

Job Purpose
To manage the Retail Stores and Franchise rollout for the Airtel Mobile Product & Service offering within the Opco to increase market share in your Channel through sales, marketing, promotions and customer service.

Business planning

1. Manage Franchise/Retail Store rollout within the Opco
 
2. Compile Franchise/Retail Store Mobile Business Plans – outlining attainment of targets.
 
3. Implementation & Control
 
4. Franchise/Retail Store segmentation and development

Franchise Selection and Governance

1. Design franchise selection framework
 
2. Design franchise operating manual and prospectus
 
3. Drive consistency in ‘look and feel’ at all Showrooms and franchise shops (Airtel Express Showrooms, Retail Sales Outlets etc)

Performance Management

1. Define performance standards across a retail footprint
 
2. Develop competency matrix for showroom and franchise employees
 
3. Work with the Regional Retail Heads and teams to drive retail KPIs
 
4. Manage the Division’s budget, projects, people and processes to achieve set targets.

Qualifications

1. Good first degree from a reputable university.
 
2. A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
 
3. Minimum of 10 years work experience with at least 7 years relevant work experience in Retail/Customer Service, etc
 
4. Project Management Experience
 
5. Experience in monitoring and managing multiple retail outlets to track & optimize service delivery.
 
6. Ability to create the ideal ambience for effective & efficient customer service.
 
7. In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian GSM industry.
 
8. Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
 
9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
