  • Achieving a high school diploma that is 70% or more
  • Scholarships are available to students who have a Sharia Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 75%.
  • Students with a high school diploma that averages 80% or higher are eligible to apply to the Faculty of Economics and Management.
  • An international student’s certificate must be used to compare with one issued in the United Arab Emirates.
  • The applicant’s age should not exceed 20 years.
  • High school education should not last less than three years
  • International TOEFL scores are required for students applying to College of Economics and Management. They must be at least (6.0) in IBT, (173 points and higher in CBT or 500 points and more in PBT) or the equivalent of an academic English test (IELTS score of at minimum (5.0) and not longer than two years since it was issued.
  • The College of Communication requires that students apply to the College of Communication have an International TOEFL score of 45 points or more in IBT, 133 points or greater in CBT or 450 points or better in PBT or the international equivalent of the Academic English Language Test (IELTS). This score must not be less than (4.5), as long as it has been valid for at least two years.
  • The student cannot have been expelled from Al Qasimia University, another university, or higher institution for academic or disciplinary reasons.

Al Qasimia University Undergraduate Scholarships Required Documents

  • Original transcripts of secondary school grades (tenth, eleventh, twelfth).
  • Attestation of all certificates mentioned above by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in country from which certificate is issued and UAE embassy in that country.
  • Translation of foreign certificates into Arabic and English by a legal translator, with attestation from the authorities mentioned above.
  • You must provide evidence that the Ministry of Education of the country where the certificate was issued has recognized the school or institute that awarded the general secondary certificate. Graduates of this school or institute can then enroll at public universities in that country.
  • Translate the passport into Arabic, and attest the translation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the student’s home country to the UAE Embassy.
  • Completed enrollment application.
  • A copy of the student’s passport that is valid for no less than 2 years.
  • (12) Recent colored personal photos (3×4) on a white background.
  • Valid and signed by the country where the student is from – if he’s a foreigner – to verify his good conduct.
  • If the data are written in another language than English or Arabic, a copy of the birth certificate is required.
  • A health certificate from a government hospital in student’s country that certifies that the student is healthy and free from all types of infectious disease. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country must attest that the certificate has not been used for more than three years from its date of issuance.
