The Kochi University of Technology is delighted to Invite Applications for Kochi University of Technology Doctoral Scholarship Program in Japan. The scholarship is designed for Students pursuing their Doctoral Program in Engineering.
Kochi University of Technology (KUT), established in 1997, was originally a private university.
Founded by the prefectural government, KUT ambitiously set its sights in becoming a world class university through the pursuit of unique excellence.
KUT’s revolutionary design, introducing innovations never before seen in universities in , contributed greatly to development in university education.
Despite its relatively small scale, KUT has had a strong presence with its distinctive character and progressive education system.
Notably, KUT took the lead in adopting a quarter system to enable intensive learning. Valuing student , KUT has no compulsory courses.

Eligibility
1. To hold a degree from an accredited institution comparable to the master’s degree offered at KUT after 18 years of education, or to be scheduled to acquire such a degree before the KUT enrollment date.
2. At the age of 35 years old or under
3. Demonstrate excellent academic record, strong Bachelor and Master reputation
4. Have adequate knowledge and research skill
5. Have high English Proficiency
How to Apply
1. Choose one or two research project(s).
2. Complete and submit all required documents by post to the university.
