– Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) Registration 2022 –

In this article, I will provide you with the requirements for ANAN registration and guide you on how to go about the registration process. The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) is one of the professional accountancy associations with the regulatory authority in Nigeria.

Also, the other being the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). A consultant offering financial services in Nigeria must be a member of either ANAN or ICAN.

ANAN was established in 1993. ANAN administers a Certified National Accountants Certification, which is offered to members who successfully complete the National  Accountant Certification exam administered by the Nigerian College of Accountancy, a training institute of ANAN.

The Association was established to advance the Science of Accountancy and determine the standards of knowledge and skills to be attained by persons seeking to become registered members of the accountancy profession and reviewing those standards from time to time as circumstances may require.

Requirements for ANAN Registration

  • Bachelor of Science degree, B.Sc (Accounting) from any NUC accredited Nigerian University or any approved oversea University.
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) Accountancy from an NBTE accredited Nigerian Polytechnic or any approved oversea Polytechnic

Note: Any Applicant who is a graduate of an Overseas University/Polytechnic is required to provide a transcript of his or her academic records properly issued and signed by the Registrar of the institution.

Holders of B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Management, Economics, and Banking and Finance, shall be admitted into the Conversion Programme. This shall qualify successful candidates into the professional program.

Request for application form should be made direct to the addresses below, enclose with a self-addressed envelope (3ocm x22.5 cm) with a stamp affixed, together with an application fee of N7,500 paid to the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Kwall, near Jos.
