Baer Reintegration Scholarship, which is fully funded by the Center for Reintegration, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The Baer Reintegration Scholarship
The Center for Reintegration is an esteemed nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with mental illnesses to embark on a journey towards a fulfilling life by actively supporting their reintegration process.
Reintegration is the process through which individuals with mental illnesses strive to regain purpose and fulfillment.
Reintegration involves the process of individuals with attaining meaningful employment and education, rebuilding their relationships, and progressing towards independent living.
Eligibility for Baer Reintegration Scholarship
To be considered for the Baer Reintegration Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. Have an officially documented diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder.
2. Currently be receiving medical treatment for the diagnosed mental illness, which includes regular medications and psychiatric follow-up.

3. Actively engage in rehabilitative or reintegrative activities, such as being a member of a clubhouse, participating in part-time employment, volunteering, pursuing education, or being competitively employed.
4. Submit a complete application package, including an application form, an essay, transcripts (if applicable), three recommendation forms from references, and information regarding the applicant’s financial requirements from their educational institution.
