BluEarth Renewables is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their BluEarth Renewables Scholarship Program. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

BluEarth Renewables is a leading, independent, power producer that develops, builds, finances, owns and operates wind, hydro and solar facilities.
Since its inception in 2010, BluEarth has developed and acquired 24 projects across North America, representing 513 MW of gross nameplate capacity in operations and under construction.
BluEarth’s operating portfolio comprises projects that are diversified by geography and technology, and that benefit from long-term PPAs with credit-worthy off-takers.
The scholarship program is designed to support, educate and inspire the next generation of leaders and professionals who have the power to change the future.
Aim and Benefits of BluEarth Renewables Scholarship
Indigenous Peoples: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Community Leaders: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Renewable Energy Trades: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Requirements for BluEarth Renewables Scholarship
1. Applicant must be a resident of Canada or the United States;
2. Pursuing full-time studies at an accredited Canadian or United States trades or technical school, college or university;
3. Indigenous Peoples Scholarship only: member of an Aboriginal community (band or settlement), including First Nations, Metis and Inuit; and proof of Aboriginal Status;
4. Renewable Energy Trades Scholarship only: Enrolled in a renewable energy trades program with a direct focus on wind, hydro or solar energy.

Selection Criteria
All applications will be reviewed based on four main criteria:
1. Ability to demonstrate an interest in renewable energy and/or environmental stewardship;
2. Community involvement activities;
3. Case for financial support;
4. Proximity to BluEarth projects, facilities, and office locations.
Documents Required for Application
1. Unofficial transcripts for most recent academic program, if completed in the last five years.
2. One letter of recommendation.
3. Proof of your Aboriginal Status (Indigenous Peoples Scholarship applicants only).
