Juniors and seniors in NSHSS high schools are eligible for this scholarship. Academic achievement, shown leadership, extracurricular activities, accolades, community service, teacher recommendations, and personal statements are all taken into consideration when awarding scholarships.
Award: Top ten (10) winners will receive $5,000 scholarships, twenty (20) finalists will receive $1,000 scholarships

NSHSS Members who are rising high school juniors and seniors graduating in 2022 or 2024

Scholarship Details:
Applicants will be selected for a top 10 award of $5,000 Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships and $1,000 National Scholar Awards for 20 finalists.
There is one application. Winners for both awards will be selected from the Claes Nobel Academic Excellence Scholarship applications.
Claes Nobel Academic Excellence Scholarship Application Requirements:
- Prompt response of 500-800 words to the following question:
- How do you hope to make a positive impact on society? How will your college plans help you on your journey?
- Pictures/videos/media showing your leadership in action (optional)
- Color headshot
- Academic resume
- Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
- Educator recommendation
