ABSTRACT
This research work titled Assessment of Early Childhood Education Graduates on Attainment of Pre-primary Education Objectives in North-central Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria.
The main objective of this study was to assess the Early Childhood Education graduates on attainment of pre-primary education objectives.
The study had seven specific objectives, among other was to determine the extent at which Early Childhood Education graduates prepare children for smooth transition from home to school.
In line with the objectives, seven research questions and seven null hypotheses were raised. The descriptive survey research design was used for the study.
The total population of the study was 801 parents of early school children. Three hundred and fifty (350) parents were used for the study.

INTRODUCTION
Background to the Study
When the issue of the present Nigerian Educational system is raised today, the first sets of thought that come to mind are: the decline in academic standard, deterioration of facilities, examination malpractice, mass promotion syndrome and the like.
These call for an in-depth study and analysis aimed at tutoring each and every stakeholder in the education system on how their actions and inactions have individually and collectively contributed to the collapsing state of education in Nigeria.
In any case, knowledge and skill acquisition, which education is all about, are very vital. In a time of scarce public resources, the care and education of young children will continue to fall to the bottom of the priority list until there is a public understanding about the economics of rising to the next generation.
High-quality Early Childhood Education is too vital to be brushed aside as social service expenditure or as too expensive to consider in tight budgetary times. Modern societies show serious concern for the education of their young ones for obvious reasons.
