Curtin University PhD Scholarship 2022 Application Update

Curtin University PhD Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Curtin University.

About the Scholarship

Curtin University, formerly known as the Curtin University of Technology and Western Australia Institute of Technology, is an Australian public research university based in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia.

Benefits of Curtin University PhD Scholarship

The successful candidate will receive a stipend of AUD 27,596 per annum

Requirements for Curtin University PhD Scholarship 

1. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline requiring the completion of a publicly available thesis or research project to an acceptable standard; Or

2. A Bachelor’s degree with first class honours; Or

3. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (with first class or upper second honours) and completed a postgraduate diploma or its equivalent.

4. Completed a Masters degree by coursework with, in both cases, a course-weighted average of not less than 70 percent within the University, and showed the capacity to undertake significant research.

The applicant should:

1. Have strong computational skills and an interest in systems modelling;

2. Preferably have experience in research and/or the use of statistical packages; and

3. Preferably have experience of publishing peer-reviewed research.
