DAAD Scholarships at Strathmore University 2021: Potential candidates are invited to read the application information below and submit their applications no later than 31st January, 2021 at 5.00pm. Please note that applications received after this date will not be accepted.

Female candidates and candidates from outside Kenya are strongly encouraged to apply.

DAAD Scholarships for PhD and Master Programs at Strathmore University Requirements

List of eligible programmes/fields of study:

Applications for  PhD or Master scholarships at  must be in any of the following programmes/fields of study:

  • PhD in Mathematical Sciences
  • PhD in Information Technology
  • MSc in Mathematical Finance

Relevance to development: PhD proposals must demonstrate relevance to development.

Duration and Commencement: Scholarships are available for up to a maximum of two years (Master) and three years (PhD). The scholarship will be initially granted for one year and may be extended upon individual request and a receipt of a complete application by using the provided form.

Equal opportunities: Female candidates and candidates from less privileged regions or groups as well as candidates with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

To apply for the scholarship, you first need an admission letter from Strathmore University as the host institution.
