DKT International is named in honour of (Deep) Tyagi, who served as assistant commissioner of Family Planning for the Government of India.
Mr Tyagi was the architect of an extensive communication and behaviour change program that introduced modern methods of family planning to hundreds of millions of Indians.
Although he died at the young age of 41, Mr Tyagi made a major contribution to his country’s family planning efforts.
It was he who was largely responsible for the design and dissemination of a massive communication program that brought awareness and knowledge of family planning to hundreds of millions of Indians.
He began his work at a time (1966) when modern contraceptives methods were virtually unknown in rural India.
His success in saturating the country with simple, attractive messages and designs (including the Red Triangle, which is now in use in several other countries) overcame age-old communication barriers and greatly increased public awareness of birth control.
As an Indian with close ties with his own village in Uttar Pradesh, he saw a basic incongruity between national family planning goals and traditional aspirations of rural Indians and his work did much to bridge this gap.

Application Process
1. All fresh graduates with a minimum of a university degree not below Second Class Upper Division and who have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme are encouraged to apply.
2. All eligible candidates will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This is the preliminary phase of our entry-level recruitment process.
4. Once successful, they are scheduled for the next phase of the process, leading eventually (for successful candidates) to an exciting career with the Bank.
General Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants applying for the DKT International recruitment must possess any of the following:
• Possession of B.Sc, ,, OND concerning the applied position from a recognized institution.
• Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
• NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
• West African School Certificate (WAEC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects.
• Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO) with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.)
• (ND) obtained from a recognized institution.
• National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution.
• All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voters card etc.
• Ability to work with basic computer applications(e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Geographical mobility within and outside Nigeria.
